COSE partners with Goldman Sachs and Cuyahoga Community College’s (Tri-C) 10,000 Small Businesses program. The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program is a $500 million national program designed to help small businesses thrive in the United States. Goldman Sachs provides selected small business owners with real-world business and management education, access to capital and other business support services. These services assist the small business owners develop a strategic business plan.
The business education focuses on the issues critical to expanding one’s business and collaboration with others. The curriculum covers the following:
- Identifying and evaluating business opportunities
- Understanding and managing the competitive business environment
- Analyzing financial statements and using them to make management decisions
- Accessing financial capital
- Leading a growing business
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program provides small business owners one-on-one advisory services to help develop and implement a tailored strategic and financial plan for growth. The program also helps small business owners connect with a network of organizations that are willing to assist with future business needs.
